Government ministers received a secret service report in the spring of 2023, showing that far more serious cases of poisoning had occurred at Samsung's factory in Göd than previously known. Some workers were exposed to carcinogenic chemicals at levels 510 times above the limit. At the government meeting, several ministers argued in favor of suspending the factory's operations, but this did not happen in the end.
