<pFoster Partners, Bjarke Ingels Group, and Arup are among the 16 shortlisted international and local teams invited to submit proposals for the master plan of a new urban district on Budapest’s 240-hectare Rákosrendező brownfield railway site, where the city aims to create a livable, park-centered neighborhood with affordable housing. The area had previously been targeted for a high-rise luxury development by Emirati developer Mohamed Alabbar and the Eagle Hills Group—known for reshaping the skyline of Belgrade—before the city halted the plans.</p
