The world-class Hungarian swimmer whose love even the Iron Curtain couldn't stop

A French TV station voted the story of Olympic champion Éva Novák and her husband the most beautiful romantic story of the 20th century. After a Brussels newspaper disparaged her world record, she wrote them an angry letter, after which she and the journalist fell in love and secretly married in Helsinki during the 1952 Olympics.
