The Hitler oaks – some of the few such trees left in world are national treasures of Hajdú-Bihar County
Two of the oak trees that were given to the champions at the 1936 Berlin Olympics still stand proudly today, sixty kilometres from each other, in Hungary. There were once 130 such trees in the world, with most no longer around. These two are some of the few remaining ones.
