Péter Magyar clearly willing to engage in confrontation Orbán tried hard to avoid

The cards are being reshuffled in Hungarian-Slovak relations, and Magyar has made it clear that he will not drop the issue of the Beneš Decrees. The Slovak government, however, seems prepared to further escalate the situation and has no intention of backing down at all. With next year’s Slovak elections approaching, Fico and his allies may even play the anti-Hungarian card.
