Lewandowski: I hope the game against Hungary will be a dead rubber

In Munich on Tuesday, the Golden Shoe was presented in a ceremony to Robert Lewandowski, the Polish striker from Bayern Munich, who finished top of the European top scorers with 41 goals last season. The 33-year-old footballer was praised by the Bavarian club president, Herbert Hainer, the German national team coach, Hans-Dieter Flick, and Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool's current and his former head coach. After the ceremony, the Champions League-winning footballer responded via video conference to the questions of invited representatives of European Sports Media (ESM). ESM includes Europe's leading sports newspapers, including Nemzeti Sport, and awards the Golden Shoe to the best goal scorer.
